Team NSW will be taking on Queensland Touch Football in the 2016 State of Origin on Friday September 2nd and Saturday September 3rd. The event is a best of three series with all games taking place at the home of NSW Touch Football-Canterbury Velodrome and Waterworth Park, Bayview Avenue Earlwood.

Team NSW currently hold the trophy after defeating Queensland 8-5 in 2014 and will be looking to extend that again in 2016. This year’s series will see the inclusion of the Men’s 55 division for the first time after being piloted in 2014. With the inclusion of the Men’s 55’s division the series will be contested across a record 14 divisions.

The divisions contested include;

Opens: Men’s, Women’s & Mixed

20’s Men’s & Women’s

30’s: Men’s & Women’s

35’s: Men’s & Women’s

40’s: Men’s & Women’s

45’s: Men’s

50’s: Men’s

55’s: Men’s

Games commence on Friday September 2nd with the Women’s 20’s at 1:00pm followed by the Men’s 20’s at 1.55pm the over age divisions then follow prior to the Mixed Open at 6.30pm, Women’s Open at 7.25pm and closing out the evening the Men’s Open at 8.20pm

Games 2 & 3 of the series commence from 9am on Saturday 3rd September
