2017 NSW State Cup comes down to this!

Sunday the 3rd of December 2017 will be remembered by many. Teams have now earnt their place on the grand stage and will be stepping it up to the next level to taste grand final glory with the coveted State Cup medallions around their necks.

Looking at the both Open A ladders, big crowds will be drawn in to witness another thrilling finals series. Teams from Doyalson, Paramatta, Hornsby, Wollongong, Penrith, Wests, Canterbury, Murwillumbah, Manly, Easts, Central Coast and Northern Suburbs are all proving to be popular contenders to take out the Championships.

In the Men’s Open A, the Doyalson Dragons have played clinically all weekend with the intent of creating history by being the first team to win the Vawdon Cup, Country Championships and State Cup in the same calendar year. In the Women’s Open A, the Manly Sea Eagles have been red hot on the way to possibly completing their third successive year of the Vawdon Cup and State Cup double.

The greater touch football community is the real winner as smiles, cheers and high fives have been displayed across the first two days of competition. All participants are encouraged to actively support their clubs and mates in finals contention.
