Elite and Bridging Coaching Course set for Sydney 2018

 

NSW Touch will hold 2 Elite Courses and 1 Bridging Course in 2018.

This update in accreditation will arm you with the best tools to take your coaching to the next level as well improve your knowledge on current trends.

N.B This accreditation is compulsory for the 2018 Vawdon Cup and State Cup and will be advertised in the forthcoming NSWTA General Conditions of Entry

For Level 2 Coaches (accredited in the previous Level 2 coaching structure prior to 2014) you are only required to attend the one day L2 to Elite Bridging Workshop. This is due to some of the topics previously covered in the Level 2 now moving to the Elite Course.

For Talent Coaches (accredited since the introduction of the Talent Coach Course from 2014) you will attend the two-day full Elite Coach Course and are also required to complete the Intermediate Coaching General Principles worksheets prior to attending the course

Module 3 &4: Skill Development – Movement, Ball, Rollball and Rucking – Practical 100 mins

Module 5. Attack Skills and Strategies – Practical 100 mins

Module 6: Defence Skills and Strategies – Practical 90 mins

Day 2

Module 7: Athletic Performance – Theory 60 mins

Module 8: Coach Intervention and Game Analysis – Theory/Practical 80 mins

Module 9: Elite Game Plan – Theory/Practical 60 mins

Module 10: Athlete Development, Selection and Talent Identification – Theory 40 mins

Module 11: Mentoring – Theory 30 mins

Module 12: Coach Professional – Theory 30 mins

Module 12: Game Concepts and Strategies – Practical 100 mins

TOTAL (inc breaks) 16 hours
