Grants and funding are regularly available for touch football organisations within New South Wales. National and State bodies such as the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and New South Wales Department of Communities, Sport and Recreation (DSR) provide many variations of grants year round.

Local Sporting Champions Program
(Provider – Woolworths)

Amount of Funding available

Up to $500 for individuals, and up to $3000 for team applications.

What is it?

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for juniors towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition or a School Sport Australia national championships.

The primary focus of the Sport & Athlete Development Program is to invest of the industry to provide increased oppertunities for participation in sport and recreation for athletes, coaches, officials, sports leaders and volunteers in activities such as professional development and attendance in representative competition within NSW.
