Sydney: Coaching Accreditation Opportunity-June

Take your game and coaching knowledge to the next level. NSW Touch Football is providing a cannot miss Coaching Course opportunity in Sydney to up-skill yourself with the latest accreditation and trends within the game.

Further to this with the Vawdon Cup fast approaching and the State Cup upon the horizon  there is now a key opportunity to become an accredited Foundation and or Talent Coach.

These courses provide both basic and advanced coaching structures, strategies and philosophies. Whether to improve your knowledge or to take your game to the next level these courses provide a great opportunity for all of the Touch Football community.

The minimum requirements to participate as a Coach or Assistant Coach in the Vawdon Cup or State Cup you must have the following credentials:

  • Premier League/Open A Head Coaches – TFA Elite (Level 3) Accreditation (learn more here) and Play by the Rules
  • All Non Premier League/Open A Divisional Head Coaches – TFA Coaching Talent (Level 2) Accreditation and Play by the Rules
  • All Divisions Assistant Coaches – TFA Coaching Foundation (Level 1) Accreditation and Play by the Rules

The minimum requirements to participate as a Coach, Assistant Coach at the Junior State Cup all teams must have the following accredited coaches: –

  • Head Coach for categories 8’s through to 12 years divisions – TFA Coaching Foundation (Level 1) Accreditation and Play by the Rules
  • Head Coach for the categories 14 years through to 18 years divisions– TFA Coaching Talent (Level 2) Accreditation.
  • All Divisions Assistant Coaches – TFA Coaching Foundation (Level 1) Accreditation and Play by the Rules

N.B all teams in all events are required to have an Assistant Coach.

If you want or need to obtain both accreditation’s, you can now complete these courses in consecutive days.

Both courses will be presented by former NSW State Coach, Australia Representative and NSW Touch Football Sport Manager Daniel Rushworth.
