Guess who’s back?

We hope our community is safe, well and are enjoying the ability to be back on the park again.

We advised back in August that from Monday, September 6, staff were to be placed on reduced hours.

As we are now back to community sport for those who are fully vaccinated, I am pleased to announce that all staff will be back to full-time employment status from Monday, November 1st. This will enable a greater ability for support to the Affiliates that are now getting their competitions back up and running and hopefully to full capacity.

I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of our staff while on reduced hours. They continued to support our community even though on a reduced capacity. Their acceptance of the situation and dedication through the period is something that I am extremely proud of.

While it was a difficult decision to make and advise staff of at the time, it was very exciting and pleasing to advise them that we will be back to normal capacity, come Monday.

We all look forward to continuing to work with and support our Affiliates, Regions, and members alike to kick start the sport again in NSW.

I would also take the opportunity to advise that we will provide all affiliates with a State Cup update next week.

We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the State, NSW Health, the Office of Sport and Sport NSW. We will communicate any future recommendations, changes to COVID-19 Safety Plans or Public Health Orders impacting our sport.
