2019 Vawdon Cup Nominations now OPEN!

2019 Vawdon Cup Nominations are now open!

NSW Touch Football are now preparing the 2019 Vawdon Cup which is set to start in just over 2 months!

Vawdon Cup is a representative Touch Football event which caters for Open, Senior, Youth and Inclusion Divisions.

Although Vawdon Cup is a representative event, there is a strong social and family orientated atmosphere. Vawdon Cup hosts a wide range of skills and experience from Youth to Senior players in a variety of divisions. It is a great avenue for youth participants to develop their game.

The Inclusion League is a modified competition within Vawdon Cup which allows players with disabilities to participate in Touch Football at a representative level. This competition enables full engagement and the chance to compete on the Grand Final day.

Following an extensive review with Affiliates, the 2019 edition will move away from the traditional mid-to-late July start. In 2019, Round 1 of Vawdon Cup will begin on Friday August 23.

The 11 competition rounds will be played through August, September and early October with the Finals Series being conducted throughout late October. The Grand Finals will take place on Sunday October 27.

All Affiliates can now nominate their team by clicking 2019 Vawdon Cup Team Nomination Form.

The 2019 Vawdon Cup Website is where you can find all of the information you will need to know about the upcoming competition.

Any questions regarding nominations or the Vawdon Cup competition can be directed to NSW Touch Football Events Coordinator Keith Lee via email [email protected].
