Shoosh for Kids: Sign Up Now!

Shoosh for Kids awareness week for summer sports will be held from 12 to 18 November 2018. So sign up to the campaign below, download the FREE resources and start promoting positive spectator behaviour today.

The campaign has an awareness week early in the season to help clubs and associations set the acceptable levels of behaviour early. However, the campaign message is relevant all season long, so access the FREE resources to promote the importance of positivity to your members, now and all season long.

Shoosh for Kids is a collaborative effort between the Office of Sport and State Sporting Organisations to promote positive behaviour to their members, clubs and associations. The general rule is, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.

The purpose of the campaign is to support grassroots sports in providing positive environments for their members, whilst also addressing issues which arise from poor behaviour including:

  • Abuse to officials
  • Reduced volunteer numbers
  • Reduced participation rates (due to poor experiences/non-enjoyment/too competitive)

Sign up now to access the FREE resources and get ideas of how to promote the campaign to your members.

A limited supply is available so register early so you don’t miss out!
Your involvement will raise awareness of the importance of keeping kids sport focused on fun. Let’s work together to keep kids playing sport!
