NSW Touch Football Touch @ Lunch Competitions (January-October)


This competition is held at the Crescent Precinct of the Domain in the Sydney CBD and is open to business houses. We conduct Men’s & Mixed competitions on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year during lunch time.

Cootamundra Unisex Knockout (January)

Coota TA

This competition is held annually in mid January and conducted by Cootamundra Touch Association. The competition is a mixed open one and caters for all levels from the very social to the elite.

Yass Knockout (January)


This competition is held annually in late January (Australia Day Weekend) and conducted by Yass Touch Association. The competition is a Men’s, Women’s & Mixed open one and caters for all levels from the very social to the elite.

Australia’s favourite knockout event will be turning 30 in 2018.

The Yass Knockout is a hugely successful Club and Affiliate Team competition that caters for all levels of participation. The 2018 version will be conducted on the 27th & 28th January and will have over $15,000 n prize money on offer.

Nomination Details;

You must nominate and register your players online at ( and the team nomination fee of $300 must be paid online.

Players must be registered in a 2017 Season 1 or Season 2 competition affiliated with NSWTA, TFA or FIT to qualify to play in the 2018 Yass Touch Football Knockout. Team nominations will be limited to 120 teams and the Knockout will only be played at Walker Park, Yass.

Northern Rivers Touch League (June)


The Northern Rivers Touch League is an Annual event held in Murwillumbah each June Long Weekend.
Murwillumbah is 30mins from Gold Coast Airport.

The aim of the event is to build the profile of Touch Football up in the town and the Northern Rivers region by giving local players an opportunity to play against strong competition in their own backyard as well as inviting community spectators to come out & watch for the day to see what the sport is about.

The first event in 2013 attracted 8 teams featuring Murwillumbah, Tweed, Gold Coast, Palm Beach & Yamba

In 2014 it reached to 40 teams with the word spreading from Murwillumbah down to Coffs Harbour up to the Sunshine Coast & out to Toowoomba, we even had a mixed team from Northern Territory and players from Victoria come up for the event.

The event has reached the stage to lock in 2 days to accept more teams and we want it to continue growing each year!

Coolah Veterans Carnival (November)

The Coolah Veterans Carnival is conducted on the first weekend of November each year. The carnival is now in its 23rd year and from the outset it has proved to be an outstanding success by attracting teams from many areas of NSW. This success is due mainly to the small town atmosphere that includes support from many local groups and businesses. The entertainment on Saturday night provides a welcome balance to the competitive games played over the two days. All teams are assured of 3 games on the Saturday and a minimum of 2 games on Sunday. The teams will be graded after the round robin style competition on the Saturday and then will play-off on the Sunday for prizes in each division. All division winners will receive T-shirts while the top division winners play off for cash prizes.

Wagga Wagga Knockout (November) 

The Wagga Wagga Knockout is held in November each year. In 2015 it will be holding a knockout on the 14th and 15th of November. All games will be played at Jubilee Oval Wagga Wagga. Saturday’s games will commence at 10am in round robin format. Sundays games will commence at 9am in a knockout format.. There is no minimum to team size (please be aware games are 6 a side). Players may also play in several teams.

Entries are open to Womens, Mens and Mixed Teams with A, B, C Grades (depending on the number of teams). Nominations are now open and close Wednesday 11th November 2015. Tournament rules are available here.

PLEASE NOTE: Every Team MUST provide a duty referee.

Entry fee is $300 per team.
